1. What payment options do you accept?
We accept payment through private pay, Medicaid, and long-term care insurance. Our goal is to make our services as accessible and affordable as possible.
2. What type of care do you provide?
Our care focuses primarily on socialization and engagement for older adults. We provide structured activities, companionship, and a safe, supportive environment during the day.
In addition, we can assist with certain personal care needs, including incontinence care and a few other supportive services, based on individual requirements.
3. Do you provide one-to-one private duty caregivers?
Yes! Through our partnership with Acti-Kare, we provide professional private duty caregivers for individuals who need in-home support.
Even if you discover that home care is more appropriate than adult day care, you don’t need to look elsewhere—we can connect you with the right care solution.
4. What is the difference between home care, assisted living, and adult day care (and senior centers)?
Many people are unsure about the differences between these care options. Here’s a simple breakdown:
- Home Care
- Personalized assistance in the individual’s own home.
- Services may include personal care, medication reminders, meal prep, and companionship.
- Flexible part-time or full-time schedules.
- Cost: typically $20–$30 per hour.
- Assisted Living
- Residential apartments or rooms in a community setting.
- Includes help with daily activities, meals, and social programs.
- Provides staff support but not 24/7 medical care.
- Cost: typically $3,500–$6,000 per month.
- Adult Day Care
- A daytime program that provides supervision, structured activities, meals, and socialization.
- Offers respite for family caregivers.
- Participants return home in the evenings.
- Cost: typically $50–$100 per day.
- Senior Centers
- Community-based programs offering social, educational, and recreational activities.
- Usually do not provide medical or personal care services.
- Often free or low-cost.
Key Differences:
- Location: Home vs. community residence vs. daytime center.
- Duration: Flexible (home), full-time (assisted living), or part-time/daytime (adult day care).
- Focus: Personalized aid, communal living, or daytime socialization.
